A toddler-approved smoothie made with naturally sweet strawberries and two vegetables – cauliflower and beets. But shhhh.. don’t tell your little one that there are veggies hidden in this colorful and tasty smoothie. She won’t have a clue.
3Makes 3 (7 Ounce) servings
What you’ll need
- 1 cup strawberries, frozen
- 1/4 cup cauliflower, frozen
- 1/2 beet, cooked
- 1 banana, ripe
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup ice
How to make it
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth.
- Pour into a toddler-friendly smoothie cup and serve.
Short Cut for Cooked Beets – packaged pre-cooked beets work perfectly in this recipe as they have a mild flavor and are all ready to go. You can find these cooked beets in the grocery store by the salad greens.
