Warm Peach Chunks with Nutmeg

  • Makes 6 servings, 6

What you'll need

  • 2 cup peaches, peeled and sliced (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 tablespoons of water

How to make it

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a small saucepan.
  2. Cook on medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes or until peaches are warm and you can break them up with the back of a wooden spoon; make sure to stir around while heating so not to burn bottom of peaches.
  3. Let cool slightly, chop into finger size pieces and serve.

Serving options – can be served plain, over yogurt or cottage cheese or smeared on top of a piece of toast (for tots).
