Is the packaging recyclable?
Currently flexible film packaging is not recyclable yet in municipal and curbside systems, but we are always working to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging which is why we are part of a takeback program that you can use for our packaging (this works for both flexible film, like these mixes and pouches).
If you want to participate in our takeback program and help keep them out of the landfill, visit TerraCycle’s website and request an envelope for your used pouches. Once the envelope is filled out, just drop it in the mail to TerraCycle. They will be sorted and then processed into new recycled products.
How long can I use the Fruity Sticks once they have been opened?
Once the bag has been opened, we suggest storing them in a cool, dry place and using within 7 days for maximum freshness.
I see some variability with the snack fill, is this normal?
This is completely normal. Once the snacks are baked, each stick is filled with the creamy fruit and oat filling and while we aim to fill them a little over halfway, there is some variability expected.
Why does the recipe include calcium carbonate?
Each recipe contains calcium carbonate to help with the expansion of the snack, this makes the snack, light, airy and melt more quickly!
How many servings are in the canister?
Each canister includes about four servings of 8 pieces (18g).
