Sales Planning Associate

Happy Family is looking for a Sales Planning Associate to work with our Director of Sale Planning to manage and maintain all company trade promotions. This person will work with our field sales managers, finance and demand planning to develop accurate and timely forecasts and drive the planning process from the sales/customer perspective. The Sales Planning Associate is responsible for managing the input of all company promotions into the trade management software. Success will be measured by accuracy of inputs and the impact of tracking on trade spend. The Sales Planning Associate will report to the Director of Sales Planning.
- Enter and maintain trade promotions in trade management software
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, process consistency and documentation in planned promotions
- Support the sales team in organizing and maintaining the most up-to-date promotional plan for all customers
- Run reports on promotion volume and efficiency
- Other ad hoc projects in sales operations to improve deduction management
Desired Skills & Experience
You have some experience in consumer goods with either a familiarity or interest in sales planning. You are a self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with a moderate level of guidance.
You are enthusiastic about nutrition and are passionate about our Happy Family mission to change the trajectory of children’s health in the US by partnering with parents from the beginning of their journey and beyond!
- BA/BS required
- Competence in traditional business computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
- A go-getter with a strong work ethic and ability to fully own work and tasks
- Ability to multi-task with varied skillset and to develop new skills outside of comfort zone
