  • Ecommerce Marketing Specialist

    New York, NY

    Happy Family Organics is looking for an Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in our New York City office. This newly-created position supports our highly-prioritized, high-growth Ecommerce channel and works seamlessly within a collaborative network of internal teams, agency partners and our largest Ecommerce customers.

      This role will report to the Director of Ecommerce, where you will be helping support our category-leading Amazon core grocery business. They will also own the growing Amazon Fresh and Amazon PrimeNow accounts and set growth strategies with these businesses.

      This person will be responsible for owning our product and data management for major analytics toolsets (Vendor Central ARAP, Profitero, etc.), and running an Excel-based dashboard (Experience with PowerPivot a plus) meant to infuse insights for growing the eCommerce and overall business.

      The ideal candidate is someone passionate in pursuing a career in Ecommerce and has worked on Ecommerce business in the past as an analyst (financial, demand planning or Insights), a marketing manager or a sales/trade/agency management background.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • 2-4 years of Ecommerce experience, specifically working with Amazon and their platforms, and/or other Ecommerce customers
    • A Strong analytical background, with advanced Excel skills. You must be able to compile large amounts of data from disparate locations and put together into seamless dashboards. Experience in creating and managing large excel-based databases with PowerPivot a plus!
    • A Proven track record of successfully working with and presenting to multiple stakeholders across an entire business

      • Work with design and PIM manager to ensure Salsify is being implemented and used successfully across our Ecommerce accounts
      • Interface with agency (Ideoclick) and our design team on A+ content

    Finance:

    • P&L data pulling and measuring trade spend by ASIN on P&L
    • Interfacing with trade/finance weekly on incoming spend, and ensure consistent transparency to business
    • Work on any finance-related issues

    IT:

    • Work with IT on forecasting tool
    • Support any need for data integrity in SAP
    • Work with Danone IT compliance team/Happy IT on any new software that Ecomm requires

    Demand Forecasting:

    • Help provide KPIs that go into Amazon forecasting for team:
      • Track and maintain a promotions history database to develop clear ROAS and uplift historical data
      • OOS and LBB report
      • Create and share SnS Report

  • Regional Brand Specialist (Brand Ambassador)

  • Materials Planner

    Boise, ID

    This position reports to the Supply Planning Manager and is responsible for material inventories for a specified category to support finished goods production plans, minimize obsolescence and provide overall cost containment. The buyer must be able to communicate with all internal parties and manage key supplier relationships. They are involved in growing and maintaining the companies relevant business systems (SAP, MRP, etc.).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Place raw material purchase orders for Happy Family.
    • Overall responsibility for material plans for specified categories.
    • Ensure overall MRP system (both within SAP and in external processes) maintained and overall system planning is optimized.    Conduct regular consistent reviews of all parameters and update based on new criteria.
    • Lead & conduct material planning meetings with suppliers, ensuring all material plans are adequate from DOS and obsolescence targets in the long and short term.
    • Daily and/or weekly coordination with suppliers to track lead-times on open orders to ensure timely delivery.
    • Provide timely updates for open orders and scheduled deliveries to relevant internal parties.
    • Work with the Purchasing, Planning, and Production teams to help maintain purchasing schedules and proper inventory levels; optimize inventory management.
    • Develop KPIs to monitor performance, timely deliverables, process and operations throughput
    • Establish clear communication channels with functional departments and management levels as-well-as sourcing partners.
    • Track and Assist in resolution of at-risk on-hand and/or contract balances inventory.
    • Data entry into SAP Business One; crucial for maintaining data integrity that’s used cross-functionally
    • Assist in new supplier evaluation and set up in internal business systems.
    • Manage and resolve all day to day supplier service issues and escalate to procurement as needed.
    • Participate in weekly supply planning team meetings with counterparts in finished good planning, deployment, forecasting and procurement to deliver key KPIs – service, DOS, forecast accuracy, material SS, obsolescence minimization and sourcing optimization

  • Sustainability Intern

    Boise, ID

    Happy Family Organics is looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our operations team in our Boise, Idaho office. The Sustainability Intern will be responsible for supporting the advancement of Happy Family’s sustainability priorities, focusing on a carbon reduction strategy, regenerative agriculture programming, sustainable packaging, supply chain renewable energy, and supplier waste reduction. This is a full time, paid internship for 10-12 weeks starting in latte May/early June.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategy: Aid in the development of 3-5 year roadmaps for key areas of the business including carbon, regenerative agriculture, and packaging
    2. Data Analysis: Lead collection and standardization of waste data from production facilities and developing an ongoing tracking and reduction plan
    3. Communication: Liase with marketing and PR agency to support communication priorities, including a national climate advocacy campaign

    Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business, Environmental Sustainability, Sustainable Development, Social Responsibility, Environmental Studies or similar sustainability-related field
    • Prior sustainability-related experience/project work required, in food or CPG preferred

    • Drives discovery, feasibility & acceleration of innovative technologies, product forms & functional ingredients

  • Continuous Improvement Manager

    Boise, ID

    Happy Family Organics is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our Operations team in our Boise, Idaho office. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position is vital to Happy Family’s continued success and plays a large role in ensuring the company’s goals are met. The primary objective of this role is to analyze and gain a thorough understanding of Happy Family’s warehousing and distribution supply chain to identify gaps in current processes and execute cost saving initiatives. Major responsibilities include root cause analysis, validation, resolution and reporting to key stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with all departments within operations and gain a complete understanding of all current functions and processes within the supply chain.
    • Engage with distribution center to gain a full understanding of how current processes affect operational efficiencies and costs at the warehouse.
    • Identify gaps in the process that are costing Happy Family and third parties significant amounts of time and money.
    • Profile and detail all ordering patterns, shipping requirements, customer tendencies and complexities of all customers to identify processes needed to be addressed first.
    • Identify current process issues with the highest impact to our bottom line and execute action plans to correct issues and mitigate costs and chargebacks.
    • Create and present cost benefit analyses to Happy Family management detailing the benefits of implementing the new processes.
    • Create and update KPIs to measure the benefits and cost savings of newly implemented processes.
    • Research and resolve customer deductions, including shortages, product returns, freight claims, and other adjustments taken by customers
    • Through research, identify invalid customer deductions and develop specific reimbursement plans with sales and finance team to recoup any amounts owed and to avoid future invalid deductions
    • Identify deductions trends at the customer level by performing root cause analysis and communicate such trends to management; develop recommendations for the team to review and implement
    • Create and maintain Chargebacks Manual with up to date information pertaining to all accounts.
    • Develop sustainable processes and SOPs throughout the chargeback cycle to ensure efficient and effective disputing opportunities
    • Manage and improve reverse logistics process with Finance, Sales & Customer Solutions
    • Responsible for data accuracy, performance and reporting on periodic audits of the 3rd Party resources, when applicable
    • Work on ad hoc projects including research projects, reconciliation, and process implementation
    • Develop clear and effective SOPs to ensure quality and controls throughout the supply chain
    • Work with QA team and Finance to prepare, review and implement improvement plans with audit findings (DANgo, RQA, Apollo, etc)
    • Report to Happy Family executive team and Danone stakeholders semi-annually on savings realized.

    Qualifications:

    • At least three to five years’ experience working in Supply Chain and/or Operations.
    • Extensive knowledge relating to Warehousing & Distribution processes and common practices.
    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or operations preferred
    • Lean six sigma or similar certification preferred

  • Director of Category Management & Sales Strategy

    New York, NY

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Category Management team to successfully support the sales team and achieve company goals through the preparation of data and presentations
    • Travel to join in customer meetings as necessary
    • Partner with head of sales on sales strategy
    • Collaborate with sales to develop strategies and plans for distribution, shelving, merchandising & pricing
    • Continually refining and improving business performance by conducting analyses and developing insights, with an emphasis on product, pricing and promotion strategies, to grow the business
    • Ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency of trade spending and the strategic alignment with promotional and pricing plans
    • Work to ensure the achievement of financial plans and all supporting execution initiatives.
    • Partner with cross-functional team including brand marketing, finance, and sales to develop go to market trade strategies and supporting customer trade investments
    • Work with peers in sales, brand marketing and finance to develop annual customer volume and trade spending targets.
    • Work with sales and finance to co-develop and manage customer-specific trade plans, making appropriate tactical adjustments where necessary
    • Conduct customer-specific analysis across items to identify key issues and opportunities to the plan and make recommendations for improvement, based on findings. This includes quality and product development improvements, innovation and renovation.
    • Recommend and develop customer specific product, package and pricing solutions to support customer requirements
    • Co-develop selling materials for sales team to implement strategies
    • Role reports to VP Sales

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 8+ years CPG sales experience. Previous experience should include trade management, customer planning, analytics and customer/field account management. Time spent in a headquarter environment a plus. Experience with branded products preferred.
